this was one of the most beautiful cities i visited. you can see why.

having a beautiful french girl to hang out with for a few days doesn't hurt either.

that fact that it's a small city is what is so great about it... i love this picture.

BRUSSELS

beer temple? i must be in Belgium...

"wow" doesn't even begin to cover it.

this whole square is simply amazing.

no matter what direction you look in it's incredible.

Grand Place looks really cool in black and white.

for some reason, every time i was in this square, it was dusk and raining.

er, yeah. it's a peeing boy statue, or the Mannequin Pis if you wanna get all technical about it. this is apparently a big deal. people will even go so far as to make costumes for it (which are all on display at a nearby museum).

hmmm... i'm starting to get hungry.

nothing like some mussels to start off a good Belgian meal.

of course, Belgian food needs to be washed down with Belgian beer.

the main course was so good i forgot to take a picture of it until i was halfway through. what is it? well, it used to be a cute old furry bunny rabbit. now it's just delicious. notice that it's flanked by frites and the "real" king of beers. of course, if you can't make it to Belgium, you can always try the next best thing.

not the prettiest view of brussels, i admit. but do you see those silvery orbs way off in the distance (just slightly to the right of center)? that's where i headed.

on the way there, i figured i'd stop in this park.

ah, here we are. the Atomium.

LUXEMBOURG CITY

ah, luxembourg city, the beginning of my trip. people always ask me, "why did you go there?" i think this picture answers that.
